Into the West (1992) Language: English In 1920's Ireland, a grandfather finds a beautiful horse and gives it to his grandchildren. When authorities take the animal away, the two young boys rescue their magical horse and embark on a quest to travel as far West as possible. The film intertwines themes of family reconciliation, death, social prejudice, and coming of age with Irish myth and delightful childhood adventure. The stunning cinematography and moving soundtrack enhance the exceptional acting and make this a wonderful family film.
