When I was still new to DDR, playing on an arcade machine was a big deal particularly since I lived in the DDR Wastes that were Western Pennsylvania. Eventually a "local" arcade got a machine and not to long after that more popped up around town. Back before the DDR machine explosion around Pittsburgh, I had to travel great distances to play on a machine.
