1. Clamp down the piece to be scored (scratched).
2. Secure a straight edge along the score line.
3. Using a utility knife or scoring knife, score along the straight edge a few times. The thicker the plexiglass the more you have to score it.
4. With the scored edge facing up, have the cut piece hanging off an edge. Secure the rest of the material.
5. Tap on the edge with your palm or rubber mallet.
6. The plexiglass wil break along the score line
