So you are a DDR fan. You're tracking down all the mixes, but after all that you could only afford the generic 3^rd party footpad. They like to take frequent trips around your floor as you dance. They also like to bunch up which changes where you have to step. Plus, you can't wear shoes. You can fix all of that by modding your footpad.

Modding your pad requires buying modding materials, but you will end up with a pad that will last a bit longer and you can wear shoes. There are many ways to mod a foot pad, but all have two similarities. One: cover the top isolating the pad and reducing bunching. Two: Adding weight to reduce pad travel.
